The Default Page within the Content > Page Manager > Page Content area of StarChapter is a special page. This page doesn't actually display on its own, but shares content to all other pages in your system. This allows you to set consistent content that will display on all pages without the need to edit every published page if you want to make a change. The Default page also set the standard page layout for any new pages.
The most common content to include on the Default page are Page Title, vertical navigation menus, and footer content, but may also include content required by your parent organization such an affiliate seal. Editing the Default Page follows the same method as any other Page Content.
All pages can use the layout that works best with that content; however, the Default page can be used to set a standard layout. This layout will be used when any new pages are generated, but changes made to individual pages will not be affected by changes to the Default Page. Editing the page layout of the Default page follows the same method as any other page in the system.
