    Customer Account Area (CAA)

    The Customer Account Area is the billing portal of your StarChapter service. Within this area, account details including the Primary Account Contact and information, plan limits, additional services, and past invoices and payments can be reviewed. Additionally, the primary contact and credit card on file can be updated and additional services can be purchased.

    Primary Account Contact

    The Primary Account Contact is the individual who is responsible for maintaining an account with StarChapter. If there are any issues with the account, this is the person who will be contacted and deferred to. Review the Primary Account Contact on a regular basis to ensure that they are still the current responsible party within your organization. To make changes, click the Edit link in the bottom left corner of the section.

    Billing Overview

    The Billing Overview indicates the most recent invoice, payment, current balance, and credit card connected to the account. Review the Billing Overview regularly to ensure that the credit card on file is current. To update the credit card on file, click Update Payment Method.

    Transactions

    The Transactions section of the Customer Account Area details past invoices and payments. If there are any questions regarding past charges, this will be the first place to review. Click on the Id field to download/print invoices and receipts.

    The Plan section displays your current plan, billing amount and cycle, and renewal date. To make changes to your plan including upgrades, downgrades, and payment schedule, submit a Support Ticket.

    Purchase Additional Services

    StarChapter offers a comprehensive service for a single fee, but there are a few optional items that can be purchased. Domain Administration Service allows StarChapter to manage your organization domain name. This option is beneficial for volunteer-run organizations as it ensures consistent access to the domain through board transitions and keeps all technical resources centralized. To request this service, click the Add Domain button within the Domain Administration section of the Customer Account Area. Enter the domain name you wish to have StarChapter manage and you will be contacted by your Project Manager or our Support Team with next steps. Additional Storage is also offered for $10/month or $110/year per 2 GB. To add additional storage capacity to your account, click the Add Storage button.

    Plan Limits

    All StarChapter plans have limits which can be reviewed in this area. The capacity used, available, and limit can be seen. As your organization grows, this can be helpful to determine when a plan upgrade would be appropriate. In particular, the Member and Non-Member limits are most often the cause of upgrade requests. If you believe that an upgrade is appropriate, click the Upgrade Now button. Our Support Team will reach out to take the next steps.

    You will need a W-9 form from StarChapter for tax purposes. Access that form by clicking the StarChapter W-9 link at any time.

    Contact Billing

    StarChapter's Billing Team is available for billing or account questions at this phone number and email address. The Billing Team is not able to assist with technical issues.

    You can also enter a Support Ticket for billing issues or questions. When entering a ticket, confirm that the "Department" field is set appropriately. That drop-down menu will default to Technical Support and will have to be updated to Billing Support route your inquiry to StarChapter's Billing Team.

    StarChapter's Terms and Conditions were provided when your organization signed up for service, but they can be reviewed at any time by clicking the View Terms and Conditions link.
