    Enable Board Transition Notifications

    Board transitions are a regular part of operations in volunteer-run organizations. As an integrated business system, StarChapter smooths this period of change. 

    Understanding that training materials and best practices evolve over time, it is important for new board members, who will become new admin users of StarChapter, reference up-to-date training materials. To receive email notification of the most current training resources as a board transition approaches, enable that automated option within StarChapter.

    1. Go to General > Settings > Board Transition
    2. Set the Date of the next expected board transition
    3. Set the Board Term

      Tip: In some organizations, it is common for board members to serve multiple terms. Set the Board Term field to the frequency of elections. This ensures that information regarding training and best practices will be made available regularly, regardless of whether there is a new, incoming board member or existing board members need some updated training.

    4. Click Save
