Email Templates control email content sections throughout StarChapter’s Email Builder. They are responsible for many of the software's dynamic content capabilities. All templates found in Design > Email Templates are editable, but can also be copied.
The template will be in the Standard WYSIWYG Editor, and editing a template will be similar to editing any other content. The primary difference will be that variables can be used to define which fields should be displayed. A list of all Available Variables is displayed within each template, and those variables can be typed or dragged from the list of Available Variables.
A Restore Default button is also in each template. Clicking that button will revert the template to its original state. Note that the previous version is not recoverable after the Default display is restored. All edits must be made manually from that point.
While StarChapter is a self-managed system, email templates can be a bit complex for many admin users. If you would prefer to have assistance with template edits, submit a Support Ticket, and the StarChapter Support Team can assist you further.
