    Non-Members Settings

Membership > Settings > Non-Members includes settings to manage non-member data.

    General

Delete non-members with same email as member every night?

This setting is typically enabled as it ensures that prospects are removed from the Non-Member Manager after joining the organization and being added to the Member Manager. This ensures that non-member contacts are not bloated with duplicate profiles and subscription status aren't conflicting and causing email deliverability issues.

Add new non-members with pending status?

This setting is typically disabled. Since Non-Member Logins are not recommended, the only benefit of non-member additions to the Non-Member Manager is mass email communication. Adding all new contacts as Pending leaves a substantial task of reviewing and approving those new contacts to system admins.

    Login Options

The username options for non-member logins are dictated by these settings. Enable the options that should be available to non-members for use in the username field. Typically, all options are disabled as login access to restricted material is considered a member benefit.

    Custom Non-Member Fields

All standard fields such as name, company, and contact information is part of StarChapter's default setup, but each organization and industry have information that is specific to them. Fields created within the Custom Non-Member Fields area will display in all non-member profiles in Non-Member Manager.

    Mass Update

The Mass Update tool can be used to update a field for all non-members, or a group of non-members, at the same time.
