Multimedia Content Library

StarChapter uses content sections to organize website content and pull content dynamically from multiple areas throughout the system. This allows admin users to efficiently manage data and content and eliminate the need to duplicate effort. Each available content section has a different use and/or display within the system. As StarChapter has grown over the years, some content sections have been added that are specific to our current designs. If you see content sections described that you're not seeing in your Admin Area, you may want to consider a redesign of your StarChapter website.

Audio Player

Displays an interactive play bar containing the selected audio file.
The audio file is uploaded directly into the content section, so a new content section is needed for each audio file.

Document Downloads

Pulls content from Content > Media Manager > Documents.
The name of the selected folder and links to all included documents are included in the display.
This content section will automatically update when documents are added or removed from the folder.

External Video

Embed a YouTube video on your site.
Copy the video URL from your browser address bar or click “Share” and copy the link there.
Video will fill the width of its container.
Great for highlighting informational videos, recorded trainings, or other content from your organization’s YouTube channel.

Gallery Rotator

Pulls content from Content > Media Manager > Photo Gallery in a rotation of one image at a time.
Images will display at their uploaded size or to the maximum available within the container. Limit the size of the image by placing this content section in a narrower container.

Image Shape

Display a single image as a circle, square, square with rounded corners, horizontal rectangle, or vertical rectangle.
Set the Image Focal Point to highlight a certain area of the uploaded image.
Set the image size and alignment, to determine the size and location of the image within the container.
Give your images a more refined, design-focused appearance.

Motion Full Width Image

Show a single image with a subtle zoom effect.
Set the "Image Motion" to determine the direction of the movement.
For further customizations, use advanced settings to update the "Motion Duration" and “Speed” to adjust the length of time the image is in motion and transition speed.
Motion grabs visitors' eyes, making your site more engaging.

Motion Gallery

Show a rotating photo gallery with a gentle zoom effect on each image.
Set the "Image Motion" to determine the direction of the movement.
For further customizations, use advanced settings to update the "Motion Duration", “Speed”, and “ Slide Transition” to adjust the length of time the image is in motion, transition speed and transition effect.
Motion grabs visitors' eyes, making your site more engaging.

Slider

Pulls images from the selected Slider Photo Gallery in Content > Media Manager > Photo Gallery.
The location of the slider depends on the specific design applied to each StarChapter system. The most common location for a slider is in the Header Bottom area of the Home Page.
For the best display, crop images to the appropriate size prior to upload.
