Host a Virtual Meeting using a Third-Party Service

Webinars are a convenient way to provide beneficial content for busy members when in-person meetings aren't feasible due to scheduling constraints. As with in-person meetings, StarChapter can be used to promote and manage meeting registrations and communications. Typically, a third-party screensharing or webinar service is used, so all registrants must receive call-in details for the meeting prior to the start time.

    1. Set up the meeting in Meeting Manager and set the Venue as "webinar" or "online." Set the Registration Cutoff date and time no later than the day prior to the meeting.
    2. Manage registrations, as usual.
    3. After registration closes for the meeting, send an email to all registrants with instructions to access the meeting.
