How To: Login to the Admin and Member Areas

There are key login areas within StarChapter.

Admin Area | Member Area | Customer Account Portal

Admin Area

Login to the Admin Area to make changes to the software and website.


To access the admin area, locate and click on the Admin link at the bottom of the page.

Admin Area Access

Update Login Access

Go to General > Administration > Admin User Maintenance to add new users, or to update and delete existing users. Review this video to learn more about adding existing users. 

Existing admin users can also reset their passwords on the admin area login page.

Logins in StarChapter

Member Area

The Member Area Login is where members access benefits including ticket discounts, members only content, and dues renewals.


Front-End Member Area

Update Login Access

To change login access, the most popular option is to send members the Forgot Password link.

Customer Account Portal

The primary acount contact can login to the Customer Account Portal to control the billing and financial relationship with Starchapter. Locate who primary account contact via Admin Home > Dashboard.

Tip: The President or the Treasurer are often the picks for the primary account contact. 

Update Login Access

Only one person per chapter can access the Customer Account Portal. To switch contacts, have the current Customer Account Portal administrator login and change the primary account contact.
